HIP is based on the policy that every family should have an opportunity to own a decent home with a suitable living environment.

Program Description

  Housing Improvement Program (HIP) is a home repair, renovation, or replacement grant program which offers financial assistance to eligible tribal members of compacted tribes who reside in an approved tribal service area.

Eligibility Criteria:
-Enrolled tribal member of a Federally recognized tribe residing in the AVCP region.
-Family must meet income criteria.

application.
