To increase the availability, affordability, and quality of Child Care.
The program allows parents to engage in educational and employment opportunities.

Program Description

AVCP Child Care strategy is to serve 56 tribes in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta by working with village tribal councils to address Social & Economic Conditions in this region. Our goal is to provide more access to child care program dollars and coordinate the delivery of services with State and Federal agencies to maximize available resources to provide cost effective services to clients.

Child Care Service Area
Parents have the option of choosing which child care service area will best meet their needs, whether its Child’s Home, Providers Home, Licensed Family Home or a Child Care Center

• Child Care Providers
  -Must apply by application, faxed applications will not be approved
  -Submit along with application need Tuberculosis Clearance (TB)
  -Criminal Background Check
  -Must be no less than 18 years of ageless than 18 years of age
